Extracurricular activities at Southwestern provide students with a variety of opportunities to learn leadership skills and participate in meaningful social contexts.

Student organizations include Student Missions Fellowship, Christian Service teams, missionary teams, Chorale, instrumental and choral groups, Student Life Council, and yearbook staff. Intercollegiate sports for men and women include men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball and men’s soccer. There is also a variety of intramural sports!

Other activities include missionary prayer groups, campus discipleship, and special activities sponsored by student government. Campus-wide activities are Spiritual Life Week, Christmas and Spring Banquets, Day of Outreach, Missions Week and mission trips, Homecoming activities, the Southwestern College Banquet, and college drama productions.
