Southwestern College is the only regionally accredited college in the southwest also accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.* The past two years represent some of the most exciting in its history and the school is poised to become the Christian college of significance in the southwest. Southwestern College, located in north Phoenix, is a regionally accredited, four-year Christian college. Established in 1960, Southwestern maintains its original position as a not-for-profit, intentionally Christian college. Southwestern is dedicated to the purpose of providing its students with a solid educational experience firmly established upon a Biblical and spiritual foundation. For this reason, it is essential that Southwestern College employ only individuals of like faith and practice who will embrace and support these principles and sign the College’s Statement of Faith. The College requires that full-time and part-time faculty and staff are members of an evangelical church of like faith and practice.
