These are exciting times for our volleyball program. Last year we did something that has never been accomplished in our volleyball program: we won the West Region. This year we have our core starters returning and have welcomed a new group of young ladies. Jill Young and Shayla Moll (2006 2nd team All American) are our seasoned seniors who will be leading the charge. Other returning players, Heather Craft (Junior), Caitlin Forrest (Sophomore) and Kari Beth Faber (Sophomore) have returned with an excitement and drive to become steady, consistent and yet powerful players. Teri Stevens is a player who was here for the 2005 season. She brings a great work ethic, is very competitive, and growing in her position. We have three first year players, Jennifer Haynes (Freshman), Stephanie Luna (Freshman), and Tara Reed (Junior) that bring a great background of experience and athleticism.

This is going to be an exciting year. We have the athletes to do great things. Now we need to understand how to work together to make it happen. Learning to trust, depend, and work with your teammates. This is a great place to be.
