The Behavioral Health Major is taught from a distinctly Biblical perspective and includes 30 hours of Bible. In addition, all of our instructors have had experience as licensed clinicians. Our curriculum will challenge you academically, but more importantly, it will stretch you spiritually. At Southwestern, we prepare you to work in the mental health field as a professional with utmost Christian character.

In the Family Studies Major, we build on the fact that families are God’s idea and He had specific purposes in mind for families to accomplish. You will discover these basic purposes and learn about how families function most effectively. In addition, you will learn about the effects of unhealthy family functioning on the individuals involved and on society; and you will learn how you can make a difference.
